The Dorion-Burt Heart of Gold is an award given by our two founders- Dottie Dorion and Dr. Jim Burt. It is given to someone who has made a legacy of contributing to the health of the community. Past Winners are Delores Barr Weaver (2017), Sherry Magill (2019) of the Jessie Ball duPont Fund, Nina Waters (2020) from The Community Foundation, Davalu (Davy) Parrish (2024) and Mary Brennan McElroy (2025).
