Providing Care for Patients

Volunteers in Medicine Jacksonville provides primary and specialty care, mental health care, preventive health education, laboratory studies, and most medications at no cost to our working, uninsured patients. We also have secondary relationships with specialists, who offer their vital services free of charge. Our experienced cadre of more than 200 physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and other medical and non-medical personnel volunteer their time, skill, and energy to care for our patients, who are treated with the highest levels of respect, dignity, and medical excellence. Volunteers in Medicine Jacksonville’s services also include laboratory services, mammograms, the referral of patient care to hospitals, and the provision of low or no-cost prescription medications. Our clinic is in a centrally located facility that is easily accessible via public transportation.
