To truly make an impact on the community we must work together. That means extending donations and sharing events, as well as providing our patients extra facilities and labs for treatment and filling our facilities with nursing students ready to hit the ground running. We can accomplish so much more together.
The Volunteers in Medicine clinic is a teaching site for nurse practitioner, nursing, counseling, and nutritional students enrolled in the Brooks College of Health at the University of North Florida. UNF is also our partner for our Equine Therapy program.
Baptist Health provides funding, leadership, and inpatient & outpatient care for Volunteers in Medicine patients.
Riverside Hospital Foundation is a long-standing supporter and assists Volunteers in Medicine with collaborations with other community partners.
The Delores Barr Weaver Fund has issued two separate challenge grants to support our care for the working uninsured and encourage other community leaders to participate in supporting our patients.
Ascension St. Vincent’s provides funding and inpatient & outpatient care for Volunteer in Medicine patients.
The Community Foundation provides community leadership and advances Volunteers in Medicine’s message to funders in the community, plus identifies opportunities for possible collaborations.
Mayo Clinic provides complete breast cancer care for our patients who develop breast cancer and also pays for all reference labs. Mayo Clinic provides financial support for the clinic annually.
We Care Jacksonville and Volunteers in Medicine have a collaboration in which our patients utilize their services for any care that cannot be done in the clinic while our volunteer specialists see We Care patients at our clinic.
First Coast Cardiovascular Institute provides echocardiograms and exercise stress tests for Volunteers in Medicine patients.
Florida Blue has been the Title Sponsor of the Women with Heart Luncheon for over 10 years.
Bacardi provides sponsorship and donated items for our annual Women with Heart Luncheon for over 10 years.

Agape is a Federally Qualified Health Center serving the community. They provide services at no cost, sliding fee scale and accept health insurance.
AHEC creates academic and community partnerships for the improvement of health in underserved communities. They provide opioid abuse prevention classes for our patients and health care providers and they provide our Tobacco Cessation classes.
Community Health Outreach provides free food and dental in addition to health. Our West Jax Clinic is located on their campus.
Our local university, we partner with JU to train their nurse practitioner students and they provide financial support for our Women with Heart Luncheon.

Pink Ribbon Jax is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization that funds free mammograms for uninsured and underinsured women and men in Jacksonville, FL. They provide funding for mammograms so that our patients never get a bill for vital cancer screenings.

MASS is a free clinic that provides free healthcare for individuals in partnership with volunteers.
Yoga For Change reduces pain and stress and improves mood through purpose-driven curricula. They provide classes at the clinic every Saturday.
