Glow Up with a Purpose: Beauty, Wellness & Giving Back

On April 25, Volunteers in Medicine proudly honored our April Women with Heart Honoree, Dr. Christina Monford-McNish, through her beautifully curated fundraiser, The Total Glow Up: Sip, Smile & Sculpt. This garden party–inspired wellness experience brought together the Jacksonville community for an afternoon of connection, empowerment, and intentional self-care.

Guests enjoyed thoughtfully prepared bites and cocktails while engaging with inspiring voices, including Keitha Nelson, who shared the mission of Volunteers in Medicine; Brittany Ellis, who spoke on the importance of mental wellness for women; Dr. Sherice Nicole and Tonya Thomas, who offered insights on style and confidence; and Yannika Smith, who highlighted the value of fitness and nutrition.

The event beautifully reflected Dr. Monford-McNish’s passion for helping others feel confident and cared for—inside and out—and raised over $3,000 in support of Volunteers in Medicine’s mission to provide quality, compassionate healthcare at no cost to the working uninsured. 💙
