A New Chapter Begins at West Jax: Celebrating Our Open House with Community Health Outreach!

On November 13th, Volunteers in Medicine welcomed our community into our new West Jax clinic for a special Open House celebration — and what a heartwarming day it was! With our volunteers, board members, partners, patients, and neighbors by our side, the event was filled with joy, connection, and excitement for this next chapter.

While our West Jax location has already been serving patients, this Open House offered a beautiful moment for everyone to come together, explore the space, and see firsthand what this partnership with Community Health Outreach (CHO) means for our community. Together, we are expanding access, strengthening support, and building something truly meaningful for Jacksonville’s working uninsured.

From warm hugs and lively conversations to guided tours and shared stories, the day felt like a family reunion. Our team was proud to show how deeply this clinic is rooted in compassion, dignity, and wellness — and how our collaboration with CHO brings even more resources and opportunities for those we serve.
