ABOUT BIRDIES FOR CHARITY

Birdies for Charity is a fundraising platform available to all nonprofits that are located or provide

services in at least one of the counties in Northeast Florida – Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau and St. Johns. Charitable organizations are encouraged to invite their supporters to make a contribution that will allow them to guess the number of birdies that will be made during the competitive rounds of

THE PLAYERS Championship 2026 (March 12 - 15, 2026).

An individual who guesses closest to the total number of birdies without going over will have the chance to win a grand prize of $10,000! Note that the cash prize can be directed to a charity of the winner’s choice if requested. See official rules at theplayers.com/birdies for details.

Participating charities will receive 100% of every donation collected for their organization, in addition to a portion of funds from a $100,000 bonus pool provided by THE PLAYERS Championship.

HOW TO GET STARTED

Step 1: Register Your Charity

Charity registration will open November 3, 2025, and close Feb. 6, 2026. Make sure your organization is ready to enroll! Register online at theplayers.com/birdies.

Step 2: Gather Your Tools & Create a Marketing Plan

Once your organization is approved for participation, our Birdies for Charity toolkit will be sent your way. Customize the resources for your organization – the more creative and visible, the better!

Step 3: Launch Your Fundraising Campaign

On November 25th, your Birdies for Charity page will go live to begin collecting donations. Include Birdies for Charity in all your outreach materials, social media pages and websites.

Step 4: Solicit Donations Online or via Pledge Forms

To qualify for contest prizes and the bonus pool, all online donations, offline donations and pledge forms must be submitted and received by 6 p.m. on March 11, 2026.

Step 5: Receive Your Funds & Celebrate Your Impact!

Funds will be distributed via ACH following THE PLAYERS Championship 2026 — your hard work pays off! Take a moment to recognize your team and the difference you’ve made!
