Women’s Giving Alliance Supports Free Healthcare for the Working Uninsured with $49,554 Grant

On May 23rd, at the Women’s Giving Alliance Member Forum, a gift for $49,554 was announced that will benefit healthcare for the working uninsured at Volunteers in Medicine (VIMJAX). The money will be used to support the efforts of VIMJAX to provide vital annual exams and mammogram screenings for the over 700 women Volunteers in Medicine will see during the next year. The Women’s Giving Alliance (WGA) is a giving circle supporting women and girls in Northeast Florida. Over $750,000 was given to local non profits who serve women and girls.
